Spread Hope

This pattern is based on Koko Bayer’s images for her Project Spread Hope public art series, and were created with her permission. Check out her instagram page to see how her project has grown, where these hearts are installed, and support her work!

These patterns are pdf formatted to be printed on 8.5 x 11” standard US printer paper. These are designed for 14-ct aida cloth, which results in a piece that fits onto a 6” square piece of cloth. Other size fabric will yield different sizes. If you find any errata, feel free to reach out! I found at least 5 when I stitched the example above!

DMC floss colors used (utilizes less than 1 skein of each):

Feel free to substitute thread as you like. Smaller stitch counts/inch (larger pieces) may require more than one skein of thread.
